While he was no longer the high-flying spectacle of an athlete he once was, Blake Griffin made an impression with the Boston Celtics during the 2022-23 season. Griffin endeared himself to fans by making hustle plays when he took the court.
It has remained unclear whether the Celtics intend to bring him back. CLNS Media’s Bobby Manning claimed on August 3 that his return is still a possibility.

Manning went on to say what kind of deal Griffin may earn if he and the Celtics reach an agreement.

Griffin may fill one of the Celtics’ final two roster spots.
Svi Mychailiuk has been offered a contract by the Celtics, according to reports.
Svi Mykhailiuk was given a contract by the Celtics, according to Greek publication Sports DNA on August 2.
According to the publication, the five-year veteran is considering what the Celtics have to offer.

However, given Boston’s full roster and the aim of winning the championship, he will only see limited playing time. The publication added that Mykhailiuk is fielding other options outside of the NBA.
“During the previous 10-15 days, Panathinaikos entered into discussions with his side through his agent. Showing him that if he decided to cross the Atlantic, he could expect a good offer. A proposal that currently does not exist, nor is it under negotiation for the simple reason that he still does not hear about Europe.”
Mykhailiuk will make his decision in a few days, according to Sports DNA.

Mykhailiuk played for the New York Knicks and Charlotte Hornets in 2022-23, averaging 6.9 points while shooting 44.5% from the field and 42.4% from three.
