Cleveland Browns released list of Week 8 Injury Report

The Cleveland Browns wasted no time making the status of quarterback Deshaun Watson public this week. Watson will not play for the Browns in Week 8 against the Seahawks. The 28-year-old is prioritizing rehabbing the rotator cuff injury he’s been dealing with for four weeks now. Cleveland continues to call Watson day-to-day. In the meantime, the Browns will try to continue their win streak with P.J. Walker under center, riding the coattails of their dominant defense.

The Browns opened up the week with a pretty lengthy injury report as they may be without more that just Watson for their trip to Seattle. One player to keep an eye on throughout the week is running back Jermone Ford.

Reports have indicated that the second-year running back may be down for a couple of weeks after injuring his ankle against Indianapolis. If so, that would mean more of a work load for veteran Kareem Hunt and former Patriots tailback Pierre Strong, who saw an uptick in touches last week after Ford exited the game. Stay tuned here throughout the week for updates regarding the Browns injury report.
