Fans in shock as David Seaman now predicts what the score will be between West Ham and Everton

Everton will travel to East London to face West Ham United on Sunday in what promises to be a tough encounter, and former England goalkeeper David Seaman has given his verdict on how the Toffees will fare.

Everton will encounter a familiar face in former manager David Moyes, who today praised Sean Dyche for the job he has done at the club.

Dyche’s side have had an inconsistent start to the season, and will be eager to gain another win on the road, having earned most of their points away from Goodison Park this season.

Seaman predicts the score for Everton against West Ham

Speaking on the Seaman Says Podcast, the former Arsenal goalkeeper was asked what he believed the score would be in Sunday’s match, and he responded that the home side would win.

“I’m going 1-0,” he stated.

It has been claimed that Everton play better away from home and the pressure of the Goodison crowd, and they were unlucky in the defeat at Anfield last week.

West Ham were defeated by Olympiakos in the Europa League on Thursday, and this would be the perfect time for Everton to snatch a win at the London Stadium against tired legs.

Everton beat Brentford away, and drew at Sheffield United to earn four of their seven points so far this season, and will be aiming to grab at least a point against Moyes’ side.

Everton have scored five away, compared to four goals at home, in one less game. This stronger form on the road could give them confidence as they prepare to face a West Ham side who are winless in their last three games in all competitions.

It will nevertheless be a tough encounter, and Seaman has predicted it to be a marginal, low-scoring affair, which makes sense given the form of both sides.
