Leicester City list Transfers to come including omitted players and futures, team selection

Get all of your questions answered about anything. Leicester City, who have won four games in a row under Enzo Maresca, have a lot more transfer business to complete.

Leicester City have created history, but boss Enzo Maresca believes it would be a mistake to think everything is good.

From the outside, it seems like it is, City winning their first four games of a season for the first time in their history, but there is a lot of work to be done to ensure they stay in the automatic promotion places right until next May.

On the pitch, improvements are needed. City’s three Championship matches so far have been pretty even on the balance of chances, but Maresca knows the last-minute goals are not always going to arrive.

To get those improvements, City need to bring in players. One or two wingers and a defender are on the list to sign before next week’s transfer deadline, while City also need to get a few players out of the door.

There’s a handful of squad members who have been pushed close to the exit by Maresca’s decision to leave them at home for recent fixtures, but they still need to be found new clubs, otherwise they might be left sitting idle for a few months. That won’t help Maresca if he’s looking to build a tight-knit squad.
