Former Dodgers infielder Yonny Hernandez has found a new home. Hernandez, who appeared in 14 games with the Dodgers in 2023, has signed a minor league deal with the Milwaukee Brewers. MLB insider Robert Murray reported the news.

Murray also said that the contract includes an invitation to spring training, meaning a year after being with LA in spring training, he’ll now head over to Phoenix to be with the Brewers.
Hernandez was a solid depth piece for the Dodgers in his third year in the big leagues.
The 25-year-old went 3-for-22 with four runs batted in and two walks. He played second and third base during the season, and even made a pitching appearance.
Hernandez pitched one scoreless inning in 2023, the first of his young career. He allowed just one hit, and did a solid job of filling the role that Hanser Alberto left open last offseason.
Hernandez’s best season came in 2021, when he appeared in 43 games with the Texas Rangers and hit .217 with six runs batted in and 11 stolen bases. He’ll look to earn himself some more playing time on a potentially rebuilding Brewers team, and we wish him the best of luck in Milwaukee next season.
