“The manager has said a lot to me about the club and the fans, and the people around the place. We all want success, and that’s the main thing. “The manager has told me that this is a great place for me to develop and he feels I can push the squad forward. I can’t wait to get out on the pitch in front of the fans and have a great season.”
Asked about the atmosphere at the Coventry Building Society Arena and the fans, he said: “The atmosphere at the stadium was one of the first things I thought of when I knew that I was coming here. I have played there a few times over the years and the atmosphere is always great. I’m really looking forward to seeing the fans there.”
He added: “I have had a good summer, and I had a little training camp in Portugal to stay fit, but now I am ready to get down to work.
“I can’t wait to get going. Even just being here at the training ground has given me that buzz to play again. I can’t wait for the season and I have a good feeling about it. I can’t wait to do something special with the lads and the club.”
