Room for one more as Coventry City squad submitted to the EFL after the transfer deadline

Coventry City have submitted their squad to the EFL after the closure of the transfer window. Mark Robins includes a host of new signings in his squad, who have been recruited by head of the department Dean Austin and sanctioned by owner Doug King over the course of the summer. New Coventry City signing Jack Rudoni has joined the club from Huddersfield Town

The Sky Blues saw five senior players leave over the last three months, moving on Liam Kelly, Simon Moore, selling Matty Godden and Kasey Palmer, while seeing Callum O’Hare depart on a free transfer to Championship rivals Sheffield United.

Seven new players were added to the squad and the club have a total of 24 senior players registered. Every club had to submit a maximum list of 25 players that are eligible to play in the Championship until January. Room, perhaps, for one more? Interestingly, Ryan Howley and Justin Obikwu have been named in City’s Under-21 squad despite being sent out on season-long loans to Ayr United and Grimsby Town, respectively.
