Things are starting to look up for the Toffees.
It has been a miserable season at Goodison Park which was only saved by the fact that the club were able to avoid relegation from the Premier League.
Takeover drama, financial uncertainty and points deductions have hung over the club like a grey cloud. However, it finally looks as if they have some positive news to read about.
Iroegbunam is a talented player who just wasn’t given a chance at Villa Park. He will no doubt be handed more minutes at Everton and could therefore begin to fulfil his potential.
Should the exit-linked Amadou Onana leave Everton the club now at least have a ready-made replacement for the Belgian.
With this signing set to be completed and the announcement of Harrison’s return to the club to follow, it looks as if the Toffees are thinking ahead to next season despite several players being linked with moves away.
In other Everton news, a £100million transfer claim has emerged at Goodison Park.
