Everton have officially announced the arrival of Jesper Lindstrom from Napoli on a loan deal with a buy option attached.
The 24-year-old Danish midfielder failed to impress in his debut season with the Partenopei following a €30m transfer from Eintracht Frankfurt, seeing just 587 minutes of action across 29 appearances for the club.
Napoli are in the early stages of a new project under Antonio Conte and are working on revitalising their squad, looking to cut the unneeded players to bring in reinforcements. The club are also waiting for the sale of Victor Osimhen to allow them to bring in Chelsea’s Romelu Lukaku.
Everton sign Lindstrom
As officially confirmed today, Everton have now completed the signing of Lindstrom from Napoli, picking up the midfielder on a €2.5m loan deal with a €22.5m buy option attached. His salary will be covered by the Toffees and a deal until 2029 has been prepared.
The 24-year-old looked a promising player in the Bundesliga and will be keen to bounce back after a tough year in Italy.
