“Unbelievable: Max Verstappen Clinches Formula 1 World Title – One Step Away from Matching Schumacher’s Legendary Record!”

The Dutchman became Formula 1 world champion for the fourth time in a row. He finished 5th in Las Vegas, but because Lando Norris only crossed the finish line in sixth, it was enough for Max Verstappen to mathematically be the Formula 1 season champion.

Max Verstappen, Formula 1 world champion

It is the fourth consecutive year that Max Verstappen has become Formula 1 champion.

” Oh my God, what a season! Four times in a row! Thank you guys, thank you all. I gave it my all. Thank you ,” Max Verstappen told his teammates over the intercom system after crossing the finish line.

Max Verstappen is only the fifth driver in Formula 1 history to win at least four consecutive titles. Juan Manuel Fangio, 1954 – 1957, Sebastian Vettel, between 2010 and 2013, and Lewis Hamilton, 2017 – 2020, also had a similarly long streak.

Only Michael Schumacher managed a longer series of victories, five in a row, between 2000 and 2004.
