Former quarterback Aaron Rodgers of the Green Bay Packers is considering a coaching change…

Only a few days before the 2023 NFL Draft, the Green Bay Packers traded Aaron Rodgers to the New York Jets. Once Rodgers was behind center, the Jets were given an instant “Super Bowl window” by the agreement. But an Achilles tear delayed that window by a year.

The Jets want to immediately return to the championship talks as the 2024 season draws near. They might be doing so, though, under a new head coach.

Paul Esden of Heavy On Jets claims that:

In 2024, the NFL head coaching cycle came to an end—or did it?

In a column published on Friday, February 23, ESPN’s Aaron Schatz boldly predicted that Mike Vrabel will take over as head coach of the New York Jets after Robert Saleh is fired.

After Mike Vrabel was unexpectedly fired as head coach of the Titans, the musical chairs came to an end. Approaching the 2024 season, there are too many qualified candidates for head coach positions available and too many last-chance coaches.

Why not implement the change right away? A coach with an 18-33 career record might be fired by the Jets in favor of a more experienced one.
