Ipswich Town has been ranked as one of the most affordable clubs to support in the Premier League.
Research by Casino.org considered a range of different costs associated with following a football team to give clubs a score out of 10 for affordability, on which the Tractor Boys came in at third with 7.15.
The only clubs to best the Portman Road outfit’s affordability were Everton and Wolverhampton Wanderers, scoring 7.64 and 7.45 respectively.
Of the top 10 most affordable clubs, Town was top of the tree when it came to the cheapest season ticket price at £372, while the club came in at second for total home kit cost at £102, beaten only by Southampton on £97.
Ipswich Town supporters also benefit from some of the best stadium food prices; Casino.org considered the price of a pie at a game in its research, where Ipswich came in first with £3.50, the nearest competitor being Wolves on £4.
However, on the drink Ipswich Town was more in the middle ground. The research said a beer at the ground was £4.95, tied with Brighton and Hove Albion.
At the other end of the scale, Casino.org ranked Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur as the most expensive clubs to support, with score of 1.6, 2.25 and 3.37 respectively.
Other clubs in the top 10 most affordable but not yet mentioned were Crystal Palace, Manchester City, Manchester United, Nottingham Forest and Brentford.
