Ipswich Town finally released full list of 5 key players out for injury and 4 in doubt to face Tottenham

Tottenham head to Ipswich this weekend as they look to get their third consecutive win in the Premier League.

Ange Postecoglou’s side won 1-0 against Manchester United in their last game, and will be keen to keep their winning run in tact as they look to push up into the top half of the table.

They face an Ipswich side who are 18th in the Premier League, two points away from safety as things stand. Kieran McKenna’s side are winless in their last six league games.

The Tractor Boys could be without up to eight players for the game against Spurs on Saturday at Portman Road. Firstly, Wes Burns remains out for a long period after undergoing surgery to repair his ACL after what was a major injury to the winger. He is set to return in 2026.

Chiedoze Ogbene is also out after having sugery on his achilles in November, he will also be out for the remainder of the season. Goalkeeper Christian Walton was in a backup role before Ipswich signed Alex Palmer from West Brom, he is now the third-choice keeper. Walton is out until April with a groin injury.

The Spurs game will come too soon for attacker Conor Chaplin, who looks set to return before the end of the month. He is recovering from a long-term MCL injury, and so won’t be rushed back. Sammie Szmodics is a doubt for Saturday as he is recovering from an ankle injury. He missed Ipswich’s last game against Aston Villa, but could be available this weekend.

Midfielder Sam Morsy had to miss the last game too, and he is currently being assessed as McKenna said over the weekend: “Samy, we lost early in the week – hopefully not too major. It’s a little inflammation around his abdominal region.”
