Ipswich Town: Burnley striker Lyle Foster ‘close’ to move as Blues continue hunt for frontman

Ipswich Town are continuing their hunt for a striker as they close in on a 23-year-old frontman from Burnley.

The Blues are looking to add another striker to their squad before Friday’s 11pm transfer deadline and are in advanced talks with the Clarets for the loan signing of South African striker Lyle Foster.

According to Italian journalist Sacha Tavolieri, a season-long loan of Foster is being discussed in a deal which is claimed would include an obligation to buy for £25 million next summer, assuming Town stay up.
