Kaizer Chiefs linked with Orlando Pirates attacker

Kaizer Chiefs are linked with an Orlando Pirates player, nobody saw this coming.

Kaizer Chiefs wrapped up their transfer business without signing a single attacker.

However, what many people don’t know is that they are also linked with an Orlando Pirates attacker.

CHIEFS LINKED WITH PIRATES STRIKER

Chiefs are reportedly linked with Pirates striker, Zakhele Lepasa.

So, whilst his name was not prominently mentioned in the recent transfer window, he is one of the attackers Amakhosi are interested in.

“Chiefs are currently linked with a sensational swoop for Orlando Pirates striker Zakhele Lepasa,” the insider stated on KickOff.

Therefore, Chiefs could re-visit interest in the Bucs striker in January. This is because the recent transfer window closed on Friday, 20 September 2024. Meaning, Amakhosi can’t sign anyone until it re-opens in January 2025.

Moreover, Lepasa joins the likes of Oswin Appollis, Fiston Mayele and Asenele Velebayi as attackers reportedly linked to Amakhosi. All of these options can be re-visited at the start of next year.

AMAKHOSI ATTACKERS HAVE TO STEP UP

Ranga Chivaviro, Christian Saile, Wandile Duba and Ashley Du Preez will all have to step up for Amakhosi over the next 3 months.

Interestingly, Saile and Du Preez were both linked with exits. Furthermore, Saile is one of the Chiefs players Nabi does not intend to use long-term. Therefore, Saile is likely to leave in the next window unless he has a massive next 3 months at Amakhosi. Meanwhile, Amakhosi management were considering the R40 million offer for Du Preez. However, they could not sign any attackers. Thus, prompting them to hold onto both players.
