We all know that Kaizer Chiefs are in the market for an attacker.

Chiefs are determined to ensure they reinforce their attacking department.

Moreover, Amakhosi are already preparing a bigger and better off for one of their main striker targets. Now, a very well known ex-Chiefs striker is keen to return.

FORMER CHIEFS STRIKER WANTS TO RETURN

Samir Nurkovic, aka, ‘Kokoto’ is keen to return to the Soweto giants.

Meanwhile, Chiefs are desperate to secure a prolific finisher in front of goal. Since leaving Chiefs, Nurkovic has endured a series of frustrating events in a rough patch of his career.

Initially, he left to join MaMkhize’s Royal AM. However, that did not go according to plan with Nurkovic being released. Entangled in a FIFA scandal due to not being paid.

Now, he is a free agent and he is reportedly keen to return to Naturena.

“Meanwhile, as previously reported Samir Nurkovic wants to return to Chiefs just over two years after leaving the club,” the statement read on Phakaaati.

This comes just two years after he left Chiefs. Moreover, the Serbian striker is unattached to any club. Meaning, Nabi could sign him before the January transfer window if he is interested in him.

AMAKHOSI STRIKER SEARCH WELL UNDERWAY

The recent PSL transfer window closed on Friday, 20 September 2024.

However, Chiefs are already hard with plans underway to find a prolific goal scorer. Furthermore, as mentioned, Amakhosi management are determined to sign Fiston Matele.

Additionally, Nasreddine Nabi has told Chiefs scout to broaden their search to South America. Finally, Bafana Bafana attacker, Percy Tau, looks set to finally leave Al Ahly, opening the door to a Chiefs move.
