Kaizer Chiefs are reportedly keen to sign a midfield specialist who is unique from most players in his position.
KAIZER CHIEFS SIGN SIHLE NDULI FROM STELLENBOSCH FC?
The 29-year-old Nduli is different from your typical defensive midfielder. He does not play with power, physicality and energy. Instead, Nduli is all about intelligence to visualise spaces, read the game, make decisions and execute passes with smooth elegance. Sounds like Andrea Pirlo and Rodri? Of course.
INTEREST REPORT
According to Soccer Laduma, Kaizer Chiefs are keen to land his signature.
“The interest in Nduli has been there for some time but maybe it was not in the open because there were other players at the same club that Chiefs were looking at as they didn’t want to mix things up,” the source said.
“But now, since it’s believed that they could not get those other players then they are looking at how to work with Stellenbosch FC and see if they can get Nduli. The thing is that they are looking at if they don’t keep Njabulo Blom and Sibongiseni Mthethwa then they will need a defensive midfielder like Sihle (Nduli) and that’s why they are considering him for the future.
“It’s not like there are talks going on yet after the recommendation from their scouts and recruiters. So, we have to wait first for Chiefs to make the official approach to Stellies and if there are talks then those talks will determine whether they agree on a deal or not. But the interest from Chiefs is there,” a second source added on the Amakhosi prospect.
