Agent land Elland Road as Leeds United currently in deep negotiation to sign La Liga forward

The Whites are already making plans for next season.

Leeds United are said to have held negotiations with Ez Abde’s agent over a possible transfer to Elland Road. According to SPORT, the Whites have been keeping a close eye on the Moroccan.

Adbe is presently on loan from Barcelona to La Liga side Osasuna, where he has five goals in 26 games across all competitions. The 21-year-old was named to Morocco’s 26-man squad for the World Cup in Qatar earlier this season, with the African country reaching the tournament’s semi-final stage.

According to the report, Abde’s agent, Javier Garrido, has been in the UK to speak with the Whites to explore a summer move to Elland Road. The teenage midfielder’s future is presently uncertain, with Aston Villa also apparently interested in signing the five-time international.

Ez Abde, a possible 'solution' for the Barça

Xavi, the manager of Barcelona, has not ruled out Abde returning to the Nou Camp, saying, “He is making the most of his loan, he is making a difference, and he is being professional.” He has played extremely well at Osasuna, and the goal for Barça is to maintain this consistency.

“The level he demonstrated yesterday against Osasuna is what he must always demonstrate because this is Barça.” He must perform at his highest level and maintain consistency in this situation.

“I insist that we value him and will decide what to do with him.”
