Marc Roca, a Leeds United midfielder, has told the Spanish publication Marca that the club is in talks with his representatives over a permanent departure.
Roca signed a season-long loan with Real Betis earlier this month, but based on statements made to the Spanish press this week, he is unlikely to do so again.
“I know that they have all made an effort for me to be here,” Roca remarked in an interview with Marca. “I am very happy, I have received a very warm welcome from my teammates, I am where I want to be, I promise work, commitment, and effort to the fullest, I hope we meet the objectives because Betis is a great team, and we are very hungry for victories.”
“At the end of the day, I prefer to live in the present.” The club is currently in discussions with my agents to determine how we can finalize all of the terms with Leeds. I don’t take it; instead, I concentrate on training and leave it to them. This year, I’m going to give it my all, and I’m excited about it.
The 26-year-old made 32 Premier League games during his 12-month spell at Elland Road, but he returns to Spain’s top level for the first time since 2020, when he joined Espanyol from Bayern Munich.
