Another key player set to leave Elland Road as exit Situation developing rapidly

Calcio Atalanta revealed over the weekend that Leeds United’s Wilfried Gnonto is being evaluated following El Bilal Touré’s major injury setback.

The striker is ‘determined not to play’ in the Championship and wants to quit Daniel Farke’s side before the transfer window shuts.

Tutto Atalanta reports that the Leeds player is being considered for a move to the Serie A club.

Gian Piero Gasperini’s side is said to have ‘considered the theories’ of signing the 19-year-old, but he is not a priority target.

Everton and AS Roma are also in the picture to sign him. The report states Sean Dyche’s side have ‘appeared to be in pole position’ while the Giallorossi have recently joined the transfer race. The latter are looking to take the player on a loan deal.

The Italy international seems to be keen to play in the Premier League or Serie A, in order to improve his chances of representing his country at Euro 2024.

After Roma decided to join the battle with Everton, the Leeds attacker has an ‘important decision ahead of him’.

Tutto Atalanta say the situation around Gnonto is ‘developing rapidly’ and a decision on his future could be made in the ‘coming days’.
