BREAKING NEWS: Leeds United fans rise demand for Liverpool ace Bobby Clark in £12m transfer update

Liverpool will demand at least £12 million from Bobby Clark amid interest from Leeds United, according to the Mail on Sunday.

The newspaper reported on 4 August (page 83) that the Whites are facing competition from Sheffield United, Coventry City and Norwich City for the 19-year-old.

The Championship sides are interested in a loan deal while Red Bull Salzburg could look to sign Clark permanently with Liverpool wanting at least £12m.

It is safe to say that Daniel Farke needs some midfield reinforcements at Elland Road ahead of the season opener against Portsmouth.

The likes of Archie Gray and Glen Kamara have already departed and have left a hole in the centre of the pitch for the Whites.

An initial loan deal for Clark could prove to be a positive piece of business that could improve the squad without paying a transfer fee.

The England youth international has only featured sparingly for Liverpool in the last two seasons with just 14 appearances under Jurgen Klopp [FotMob].

With that being said, the Liverpool-born starlet was picked out for special praise last campaign after featuring in the Carabao Cup final.

Although he may not be exactly what Leeds needs, if Clark and another more experienced option could be bought in then Farke may be pleased.

The new Championship season is on the horizon so the Whites need to move quickly to get this deal done.

In other Leeds news, the Whites could face stiff competition to sign another highly-rated midfielder who has been tipped to “go far”.
