According to a recent report, Barcelona is keen to sign Leeds United midfielder Marc Roca this summer. The Catalan giants are said to be interested in bringing in Spanish players over the off-season.
Roca’s Good Run Of Form In Leeds
Roca has had a difficult season at Elland Road, as he has struggled to keep the Whites in the Premier League. This season, the Spaniard has one goal and two assists in 36 games for the West Yorkshire club in various competitions.
The 26-year-old has been a strong contributor on both sides of the field in Premier League games, averaging 2.1 tackles, 0.7 interceptions, 0.7 clearances, 1.1 shoots, 1.0 crucial passes, and 0.5 dribbles per 90 minutes. He’s also been efficient with the ball, completing 79.4% of his attempted passes in the English Premier League (data via whoscored).
His current deal with the Yorkshire club expires in the summer of 2026. However, Leeds’ recent relegation may have opened the door for Barcelona to sign him this summer.
Is Roca A Good Option For Barcelona Boss Xavi?
