Dorigo shock as Leeds United player decided to leave club this summer following the transfer window

Tony Dorigo has intimated that Max Wober, who left Leeds United for Borussia Monchengladbach, may not be as much of a loss as some may think.

Dorigo spoke to the Yorkshire Evening Post about his sadness at the Austrian’s choice to leave on loan.

Max Wober appears to have irreparably destroyed his bond with Leeds fans. There was genuine optimism that the January signing would remain.

Wober’s choice to quit, according to Leeds Live, harmed his teammates. The centre-back had earlier stated his intention to stay and help the Whites get out of the Championship at the first attempt.

Dorigo has stated that he would have preferred Leeds to keep the 25-year-old. He did, however, imply that it is more crucial that Daniel Farke has guys that are willing to fight.

“I’m disappointed that he’s left because I believe he would have been an invaluable asset.” You can see these players are looking at it differently, and they’re off. But, on the other hand, I believe that the hunger and unity have always been present in any successful team in which I have played. “You may not have the best players in the league, but you certainly need the best attitude and camaraderie, and that gets you a long way,” he told the Yorkshire Evening Post.

“If you don’t have that, you’ve got a problem, so if anyone doesn’t have that attitude, they go, and it’s actually not as big a miss as we might think.” It has more to do with that sense of oneness and solidarity.”

It will be quite intriguing to watch what Wober’s future holds. Supporters are currently expressing their displeasure with the defense.

Finally, certain players were always expected to leave. And Wober was one of the few bright spots in a disastrous campaign last year. As a result, he was always going to pique people’s interest.

However, his dissatisfaction originates from the fact that he was initially willing to stay, only to opt to depart later in the window.

Right now, it could just be a loan transaction. But it’s difficult to imagine Wober resurrecting his Leeds career when his loan period ends next summer.
