Leeds United have reportedly agreed to recruit Aberdeen teenager Lewis Pirie this summer, beating both Celtic and Crystal Palace.
The 16-year-old will go to Elland Road, according to LUFC Youth, a trusted source on all matters linked to the club’s academy.
On July 1, the Daily Record stated that Celtic, Crystal Palace, and Sheffield United were all interested in signing him.

Good move
Pirie is a young striker in high demand, so it’s no wonder that so many clubs want to sign him.
Leeds have historically been successful at youth recruitment, and Thorp Arch has proven to be a good breeding place.
In the past, a lot of young players have been promoted to the senior team, and it all relies on who the new manager is.
Marcelo Bielsa was compelled to promote youth, but he also helped strengthen players and gave them confidence.
Daniel Farke appears to be the next in line, and he’s also worked effectively with specific teenagers at Norwich, so the goal at Elland Road will be to do the same.
It remains to be seen how Pirie performs, since players such as Sonny Perkins have struggled to break into the first squad.
