Crysencio Summerville will be allowed to leave Leeds United with a return to the Premier League on the cards, according to the Sunday Mirror.
The newspaper reported in its print edition (page 74, 14 July), that Newcastle United, Aston Villa and Crystal Palace are all pushing to sign the forward.
Summerville is valued at £40million, with the Dutchman weighing up his future.
Paris Saint-Germain had previously registered an interest in the 22-year-old.
Will Leeds United winger Crysencio Summerville quit Elland Road?
Summerville was the Whites’ standout performer at Elland Road last season.
He was a massive part of the reason Daniel Farke’s side reached the EFL Championship play-off final at Wembley.
He scored 20 goals and provided nine assists in 46 league appearances, and was named the Sky Bet Championship Player of the Season as a result.
Therefore, keeping hold of the player was always bound to be hard. However, it doesn’t even look as though the club are set to put up much of a fight.
That might cause some frustration at Elland Road because if the club can keep hold of him it sees their promotion chances next season rise significantly.
However, it looks as though the Whites are ready to let their star forward leave, and Farke will hope to see some of that money reinvested.
After coming so close to a Premier League return last season the club will be desperate to go again, but the task will be that bit more difficult without Summerville.
In other Leeds United news, one player has arrived at a new club ahead of a transfer away from Elland Road.
