Leeds United’s latest injuries and bans following their 1-1 draw with Leicester.
Leeds United were denied all three points against Leicester City at Elland Road as Jamie Vardy equalized 10 minutes from time.
The Whites broke a three-game losing streak when Luis Sinisterra leapt highest at the back post to head home Jack Harrison’s cross in the 20th minute.
Goals by Youri Tielemans and Jamie Vardy were ruled out for offside, while Daniel Iversen had to make two late stops to deny Marc Roca and Brenden Aaronson.
Patrick Bamford then failed to score with the goal at his disposal in the dying stages, but Leeds moved two points clear of the relegation zone ahead of the week’s remaining matchups.
Javi Gracia’s men did not finish the game without an injury, and here is a list of Leeds’ latest injuries and suspensions.
Luis Sinisterra – ankle
Sinisterra hobbled off with an ankle injury just over 10 minutes after scoring for Leeds in Tuesday’s 1-1 draw with Leicester. The Colombian international has had a string of ailments in his first season in England and will be evaluated to establish the severity of his latest knock.
What Gracia said (Apr 25): “I think it’s important because he’s in pain right now, and we’ll see.” The doctor must check in the coming hours. It came after one play when the referee ruled that it wasn’t a foul.”
Max Wober – hamstring
Wober was forced to miss Leeds’ 0-0 draw with Leicester after suffering an injury in the closing minutes of Saturday’s 2-1 defeat at Fulham.
Despite missing the previous four games owing to a hamstring injury, the Austrian international played the complete 90 minutes at Craven Cottage.
Wober is expected to be included in Leeds’ squad to face AFC Bournemouth this weekend.
Tyler Adams – hamstring
Tyler Adams underwent thigh surgery following the international break. The midfielder is expected to be out for an extended amount of time, although Gracia has not ruled him out for the remainder of the season.
The American international did not play in Leeds’ 4-2 win against Wolves before the international break and has not appeared for the club since.
Stuart Dallas – leg
Stuart Dallas has been sidelined since suffering a femur fracture against Manchester City in April of last year. He had traveled to Spain to finish his rehabilitation therapy but was obliged to have a second surgery.
“Working to recover [his] best condition, but working out of the team, so I can’t tell you more info,” Gracia stated on March 16. Of course, I want them to be ready as soon as possible, but in this case, I’m not sure how soon [he] needs to rejoin the squad.”
