Following their relegation from the Premier League, Leeds United are expecting a number of exits this summer.
On Friday night, Leeds United provided some clarification on the club’s ownership position when it was confirmed that a deal for the purchase of the club had been struck between Aser Ventures and 49ers Enterprises.
Andrea Radrizzani purchased the club from Massimo Cellino for £45 million, assuming full control in May 2017, with 49ers Enterprises purchasing their initial stake in 2018.
Prior to the agreement to complete a full buyout, the American investors boosted their minority stake to 44% of shares with Paraag Marathe, president of 49ers Enterprises and vice-chairman of Elland Road.
Leeds will receive their Championship match list later this month, but there is still no word on who will be the club’s next manager or what the future holds for a number of the squad’s top stars.
