Leeds United are allegedly close to signing Scottish attacker Lewis Pirie.
The 17-year-old is currently on Aberdeen’s books, although he has been linked with a move to Elland Road. Leeds have negotiated a £200,000 deal to bring Pirie to West Yorkshire, according to writer Fabrizio Romano.
Leeds have developed a practice of securing youthful talent in recent years, recruiting for both junior and senior sides. They’ve had different degrees of success with this style of recruitment, though some of the club’s more recent acquisitions, such as Darko Gyabi and Mateo Joseph, have high hopes.
