Leeds United finally list out 3 champions League free agents to bolster the 23/24 squad

Leeds United should make three free agency additions during the remaining transfer window, according to Football League World.

The Whites have already said goodbye to Rodrigo, Tyler Roberts, Alfie McCalmont, and Joel Robles in permanent departures from Elland Road, and Adam Forshaw has also been released after his contract expired.

There have also been five loan departures from the club. Diego Llorente and Rasmus Kristensen have joined Jose Mourinho’s AS Roma, while Robin Koch has rejoined Eintracht Frankfurt. Brenden Aaronson has joined Koch at Union Berlin in the Bundesliga, while Marc Roca has returned to Spain with Real Betis.

Despite the volume of departures, more are expected as confidence for the upcoming season grows now that the two-time second-tier champion is in charge and tasked with guiding a promotion campaign.

Ethan Ampadu is the only first-team player who has joined on a permanent basis from Chelsea. He arrives on a four-year contract after a string of loan moves in England and overseas.

He is the first of those incoming pieces to fall into place, but there is still a lot to do around LS11 in order to return to the Premier League at the first attempt.

Money should be available for the Whites to bolster the squad in preparation for a potential promotion push, but the free agency market provides opportunity for Leeds’ new-look leadership to be creative and target at least a few shrewd recruits.

Leeds United may pursue free agents.

With that in mind, let’s take a look at free agents. Farke and his recruiting team should be focusing on this summer, and why.
