Leeds United duo are already attracting interest, with clubs ready to make a move

According to Football Insider, Leeds United duo Patrick Bamford and Wilfried Gnonto are already attracting interest, with clubs ready to make a move if the Whites are relegated.

Despite moving up to 14th place with a win over Nottingham Forest last time out, Javi Gracia’s side are still in danger of relegation to the Championship.

Bamford, who joined the club in the Championship in 2018, is reported to earn £70,000 per week at Elland Road, the club’s second-highest salary.

Since Leeds’ return to the Premier League in 2020, the England international, 29, has scored 21 goals and provided 12 assists in 66 appearances.

Meanwhile, since his arrival in Yorkshire in 2022, Gnonto has emerged as one of the Premier League’s most exciting talents.

The 19-year-old Italian international has four goals and three assists in 20 appearances for Leeds this season.

Gnonto is almost certain to make the Whites a profit after joining the club for a fee that could exceed £10 million just last summer.

Rodrigo is the highest-paid player at Elland Road, with a reported £100,000-a-week contract set to expire in 2024.

According to Football Insider, the Spain international will most likely have to take a pay cut in order to renew his contract.

On Saturday, Leeds will face the table-topping Arsenal (1 April).

In other news, Football Insider has learned that Raphinha will re-sign with Leeds United this summer.
