Leeds are allegedly interested in signing Kian Breckin from Manchester City this summer. According to the Daily Mail, the Whites have identified him as a ‘target’ in preparation for whatever division they end up in next season, but he may face competition from Champions division hopefuls Newcastle United.

Breckin, 19, is a midfielder with four years remaining on his contract at the Etihad Stadium. However, his route to the first team under Pep Guardiola is obstructed by the availability of top-tier options at his position, which means his exit is not out of the question.

Leeds-linked George Hall has stated that he is content with his current Championship team, Birmingham City. The Blues may have to fight to keep the midfielder ahead of the next transfer window, as he has been linked with a number of Premier League clubs, including West Ham. The 18-year-old has progressed through the Midlands club’s youth systems and has already made 32 appearances for their senior team, 30 of which have come this season.

According to Birmingham Live, he has stated his view on his transfer status, saying, “I’m not really focusing on that.” Whatever occurs, occurs. “I’m happy at Blues, and that’s where my attention is.”
