Leeds United preparing fast to welcome back £42M midfielder wizard in summer transfer window

In the summer transfer window, Leeds United are interested in signing Kalvin Phillips from Manchester City.

KALVIN PHILLIPS WOULD LIKE TO RETURN TO LEEDS UNITED FROM MANCHESTER CITY.

That’s according to The Daily Star, who reported this evening that Leeds are interested in bringing Phillips back.

In the January transfer window, the West Yorkshire club hopes to re-sign the England international midfielder on loan.

Manchester City, the defending Premier League champions, turned down the offer.

According to The Daily Star, Leeds are still interested in bringing back the player they sold to Manchester City for £42 million last summer.

Kalvin Phillips, in our opinion, should consider returning to Leeds United during the summer transfer window if the West Yorkshire club stays in the Premier League next season.

The 27-year-old midfielder has struggled at City and is now relegated to the bench under manager Pep Guardiola.

So far this season, the England international has made five substitute appearances in the Premier League and three in the UEFA Champions League for City.

Phillips was brilliant at Leeds, and he could rediscover his form if he returned to Elland Road and played for his boyhood club again.
