Leeds United released list of four key players to miss Premier League clash vs West Ham

According to injury expert Ben Dinnery, Leeds United will be missing four first-team players for their Premier League match against West Ham United.

Sam Allardyce takes his squad to the London Stadium with their Premier League position hanging by a thread after a 2-2 draw with Newcastle United.

Long-term absentees Luis Sinisterra, Tyler Adams, and Stuart Dallas are all “ruled out” against the Hammers on Sunday (21 May).

Junior Firpo is the most recent absentee, having been sent off late in the encounter against Eddie Howe’s team. Another source of concern is Liam Cooper, whose odds of playing are rated as “50%” by Dinnery.

Do or die

Leeds has reached the point of no return. They must travel to London Stadium and get all three points. Four points from their last two games are required, and even that may not be enough to ensure survival. The draw versus Newcastle was heartbreaking for a variety of reasons.

Going forward, the Magpies were rather blunt and had to rely on two penalties to get out of difficulty. The outcome may have been very different if Patrick Bamford had converted the penalty. Moments like that will define the season, and if Leeds are relegated, some of the striker’s misses will be scrutinized closely.

West Ham are virtually likely safe for another year and may rest several players ahead of a possible Europa Conference League final. The Hammers play AZ Alkmaar on Thursday after winning the first leg 2-1. Leeds fans will be hoping the Irons reach the final so they can focus on the match on Sunday afternoon.
