According to La Provincia (3 August), recently promoted La Liga team US Las Palmas made a £1.3 million proposal to Midtjylland for the attacker despite his links to Leeds.
The Danish club, however, is not impressed by the Spanish bid since they want at least £2.5 million to release the 28-year-old.
If Leeds can obtain the striker for approximately £2.5 million, it may be a wise investment for a man who could once again be a valuable asset in the Championship.
SORY KABA THAT IS INSANE 😵🚲

Kaba scored eight goals in 17 games on loan at Cardiff City in the second half of last season. At nearly a goal every other game, he has the potential to be a top striker for a full season if he can maintain this form for Daniel Farke’s team.
He also scored a goal of the season candidate against Watford with a chested-down bicycle kick in the penalty area.
It is unknown who will head the Whites’ offensive line next season. With Patrick Bamford’s future at Leeds uncertain and a slew of attacking players leaving the club, including Willy Gnonto and Rodrigo, Kaba might fill the vacuum.
However, they will have to fend off interest from Las Palmas. While Leeds are a bigger club in stature compared to the recent second-division side, Las Palmas can offer top-flight football immediately.
That being said, while Las Palmas will likely spend next season trying to avoid relegation, Leeds plan to be at the summit of the Championship and aim to get promoted back to the Premier League.
If Kaba is happy to spend a season in the Championship and help Leeds get promoted, his commitment will pay off and he’ll earn his chance to play in the Premier League.
Kaba’s statistics demonstrate what he can provide to a Farke team, and having already played in the Championship, he should adjust much faster than other players. He definitely knows where the goal is and has the finishing ability to convert on a regular basis, with 0.55 non-penalty goals per 90 (85th percentile) [FBRef].
He’s also an aerial beast, winning 5.66 aerial duels per 90 minutes (92nd percentile), which adds another dimension to Leeds’ play by allowing them to trust on him to preserve possession from goal kicks and send the ball forward to generate attacks.
Not only does he have the qualities to fit Farke’s philosophy, but he might also come at a low cost for clubs like Leeds United.
