According to the Daily Mail, Leeds United are set to make a bid for Rangers midfielder Glen Kamara, who is set to leave the club this summer.
The British newspaper revealed in its print edition on Wednesday (23 August, Page 65) that they plan to increase their involvement in the Finland international.
Gers manager Michael Beale confirmed that the 27-year-old will “definitely” leave the club this summer.
Snap him up
Leeds have been linked with a move for Kamara for a number of weeks and the next logical step in this saga seems to be a transfer offer.
Beale has made it clear that he’ll be on his way out and this is a come-and-get-him plea with the Scottish side deciding their valuation.
He has fallen down the pecking order at the club and they’ve signed Jose Cifuentes this summer so he is not likely to get game time.
Archie Gray has been a regular for Leeds this season and it could be too soon for him to play week in and week out.
It’s best if he makes an impact off the bench as Kamara is the more experienced and better option in midfield.
By the looks of it, he’s open to moving to Elland Road and the Whites need to make a move quickly before any other side hijacks the deal.
