All of the most recent Leeds United transfer rumours, including claims on Birmingham City midfielder George Hall and Manchester United defender Axel Tuanzebe.
Here are the most recent Leeds United transfer rumors for May 16.
The future of Birmingham City’s emerging star George Hall is still up in the air. The 18-year-old is in the final year of his Blues contract and has been linked with a number of Premier League clubs, including Leeds.
Hall appeared in 30 Championship games this season, breaking into John Eustace’s starting eleven near the end of the season and winning the club’s Young Player of the Season title. However, the adolescent refuses to linger on the rumors about his future.
“I’m not really focusing on that,” Hall told BirminghamLive. Whatever occurs, occurs. “I’m happy at Blues, and that’s where my attention is.”
According to trade specialist Fabrizio Romano, Manchester United are planning to release Axel Tuanzebe when his contract expires this summer. Following a string of injuries and a poor loan spell at Stoke City in the second part of last season, the 25-year-old is looking for a fresh start.
Following Diego Llorente’s departure to AS Roma, Leeds United reportedly contemplated a mid-season deadline day bid for Tuanzebe. So far in his career, the defender has only started 47 league games, and the formerly promising talent will be determined to gain consistent game-time at his next club.
