A Serie A club is planning a raid for Leo Hjelde.
Tutto Salernitana reports that Serie A club Salernitana has increased their interest in Leeds United teenager Leo Hjelde. The Norwegian defender, who spent last season on loan at Rotherham United, is said to be a target for the Italian club.
Salernitana are thought to be interested in Hjelde and would have to shed some of their present defenders if they made a move for the 19-year-old. The adaptability of the centre-half is said to be an important consideration in a summer transfer.
Hjelde has made just five appearances for the Whites in all competitions but helped steer Rotherham United to Championship safety last season. His current contract at Elland Road expires in 2025.
Nottingham Forest is eager to sell. Mr. Emmanuel Dennis
Nottingham Forest are reportedly aiming to trade Emmanuel Dennis this summer, according to The Athletic. Other interested parties have included Leeds United, with Dennis unable to make the same effect he had at Watford.
The Nigerian striker scored 10 goals and had six assists for Watford in 2021-22 but only had two goals and two assists this season. Dennis, who scored twice against Real Madrid in the Champions League previous season, earned only six starts and played 715 minutes.
The 25-year-old isn’t in Steve Cooper’s plans moving forward and the Whites have been linked with a move for the frontman.
