Lee Bowyer, according to Simon Jordan, “should be in conversations” about taking over as manager of Leeds United.
The team is currently without a manager after Sam Allardyce left following their relegation to the Championship.
Bowyer, a former Leeds midfielder from 1996 to 2003, was last in charge of Birmingham City in 2022.
This season, Jesse Marsch, Javi Gracia, and Sam Allardyce all tried their luck in the West Yorkshire dugout, but none of them were able to elicit a true tune out of the players, and they were all condemned to the second division.
The future of various players is currently uncertain, with many senior stars likely leaving the club owing to the Championship situation.
Many senior players of the squad will want to play at a higher level, and their fates must be decided as quickly as possible, while the new manager will want a say in who arrives on the pitch for the next season.
