According to media sources, the Swans are interested in signing Leeds United starlet Mateo Joseph, who is expected to leave Elland Road on loan this summer.
The ties appear to have no substance and appear to be one of those news reports where a link is manufactured to attempt and enhance purported interest in a player in order to produce a move.
The same sources indicate interest from clubs across Europe, with the Swans included alongside Sampdoria and Wolfsburg, though clubs in France may also be interested.
While Joseph made six appearances for Leeds last season, he is not anticipated to get regular first team football this season, which has reportedly alerted clubs that regard him as a good loan signing.
Joseph has been in pre-season games for Leeds, and it is also believed that Daniel Farke will not make a decision until he is certain that Joseph is not in his plans for the upcoming season.
For me, this is just more press speculation with little substance.At least for the time being!
