BREAKING NEWS: Credible source claims Vardy seems set to LEAVE Leicester at end of season

One of the most trustworthy football media sources has made a stunning declaration that Foxes icon Jamie Vardy is likely leaving Leicester City at end of season. Although unconfirmed by the King Power club or the striker himself at present, the story seems realistic.

There will be plenty of options from America to Saudi Arabia if the former England attacker does depart. But he is very unlikely to join a team which contests the east Midlands side, leaving as its best player ever. In addition to talking Vardy, Foxes of Leicester examine the remaining Championship fixtures ahead of now probable Premier League promotion for LCFC.

A five star Leicester City destroy Southampton and pretty much secure a spot in the English top-flight

What a night to be a Fox. An Abdul Fatawu hat-trick and a Wilfred Ndidi goal in his new role for the season. Oh, not to mention a customary strike from the illustrious Vardy. Remember, Southampton are fourth in the Championship table and are a decent side on their day. But not Tuesday. So this Leicester team have made a real impression overall in 2023/24, in spite of a recent wobble. Nearly there.

Jamie Vardy will be sorely missed by all at Leicester City if he does decide to start a new chapter – but FoL wish him well

Like I said, the most famous Fox in footballing history, Jamie Vardy, notched his 18th goal of the campaign in all competitions. Not bad for a 37-year-old, eh? There is currently more speculation regarding the ageing yet still deadly centreforward. The talk concerns Vardy’s next move – will he stay in the east Midlands or will he go?

Unfortunately for those in the Blue Army like myself who has enjoyed almost every single minute of Vardy’s LCFC career – it may be coming to a swift end in the month of May. According to trustworthy outlet The Telegraph, the ex-Three Lions attacker will depart Filbert Way at the end of 2024/25. Here is the quote:

“Jamie Vardy’s Leicester fairy tale is nearing its end – the question is what is next?
Foxes’ greatest signing seems sure to leave at the end of the season but is determined to carry on playing and will not be short of suitors”

The final steps for Leicester City to book their place in the EPL next season

One more win. Just three points. That is all that is required of Enzo Maresca’s men to see their aim realised: Premier League promotion. City meet Preston North End and Blackburn Rovers next. Leicester will also secure automatic ascendancy to the EPL if Leeds United are defeated by Queens Park Rangers or the Saints in their respective remaining fixtures.
