Leicester City gem Silko Thomas is attracting loan interest from multiple Championship and League One clubs, sources have told Football Insider.
Thomas, 19, is highly regarded at the King Power after impressing in the Premier League 2, where he scored five goals and provided four assists in 16 games for the under-21s.
The winger was named on the Leicester bench in FA Cup clashes against Birmingham and Bournemouth last season, but is yet to make his senior debut.
Interested clubs are now waiting for Leicester to decide whether to loan Thomas out, or whether he will be kept around the squad for the upcoming Premier League season.
Leicester City gem Silko Thomas wanted by Championship clubs
Thomas joined Leicester from Chelsea’s academy in September 2023 and has impressed the coaching staff at the King Power.
Having represented England at youth level, both for the under-15s and under-18s, the opportunity to move on loan would allow him a chance to make his name.
Thomas featured for Leicester’s under-21 side in the EFL Trophy last season as they took on Fleetwood, Wigan and Tranmere, scoring the winner in a 1-0 win against Tranmere in his first experience against senior teams.
With first-team opportunities hard to come by, clubs across the EFL are exploring the possibility of taking him on a season-long loan, should Leicester make him available.
The winger is represented by CAA Base, who also boast the likes of Jarell Quansah, Ebere Eze and Trevoh Calobah on their books – all of whom went on loan before breaking through at their respective clubs.
