Steve Cooper managed to turn half-time boos into full-time euphoria as Leicester City came from 2-0 down to beat Southampton 3-2. Goals from Facundo Buonanotte, Jamie Vardy and a stoppage time winner from Jordan Ayew gave the Foxes their first away win of the season – and second on the bounce as Cooper’s men look to stabilise in the Premier League.

That produced unforgettable scenes in the away end as City’s travelling supporters heralded their heroes – and mocked their Southampton counterparts.

No-one enjoyed it more than celebrity City fan David Neilson, better known as legendary Coronation Street character Roy Cropper who was at St Mary’s and joining in the fun.

Footage emerged on social media on Saturday night showing the 75-year-old singing and clapping along with ‘2-0 up and you ****** it up!’ to the delight of many fans.
