Leicester City have endured a tough start to the new Premier League campaign.
Leicester are winless in their opening six games, though, they have been competitive in pretty much every fixture.
Leicester almost took points off Arsenal last time out before conceding two stoppage-time goals in the 4-2 defeat.
Nonetheless, supporters are starting to become frustrated and have been heavily critical of Steve Cooper’s style and team selection.
Cooper addressed those critics in Thursday’s press conference.
Steve Cooper acknowledges Leicester need a result vs Bournemouth
Speaking ahead of Saturday’s clash against Bournemouth at the King Power Stadium, Cooper was asked about the fan criticism.
“We need a result, for sure,” The Foxes boss said, via BBC Radio Leicester.
“That’s where narritives are written – we are in a world where results dictate so many things. We are committed to getting a result going into the international break.
“We want to attack the game, we’re desperate for our fans to see us win and play well. There’s nothing gained from being negative, but we have to take responsibility for improving results.”
Steve Cooper has to start Abdul Fatawu and Stephy Mavididi together
Cooper has to take the handbrake off against Bournemouth by starting both Stephy Mavididi and Abdul Fatawu together.
The electrifying duo have played just 30 minutes together this season, which considering their impact last term, is rather baffling.
Ricardo Pereira, who is yet to start a league game under Cooper, should also be included in the first 11.
