DONE DEAL: Young electrifying prospect moving from local club Aylestone Park to Leicester for a 2 year deal

Kane Huckerby is a 14 year old prospect moving from local club Aylestone Park to Leicester. The 14 year old have signed a 2 year deal and interesting to see how this will progress.

Following the youth set up at Leicester is always an interesting act as young players progress from the academy to become first team footballers.

We have seen this as the best platform of recruitment and hopefully the club will stop the idiotic approach of signing finished articles for heavy fees to inflated prices and just put them in the freezer, how on earth that has been possible, makes it all look laughable.

Gary Lineker used to play for Aylestone Park before moving to Leicester so the same pathway has earlier been in use to become one of the great goalscorers of all time. Hopefully Kane Huckerby can use this as an inspiration when joining Leicester.

We will always appreciate the upbringing of young players being nursed forward as we did see with Peter Shilton, Gary Lineker, Emile Heskey, Harvey Barnes and several other local born players that has gone all the way, fantasti

Jason Wilcox is one Leicester also have a relation to, as the new Technical Director of Man Utd, announced today, coming in from Southampton, do have an exciting job to take on. Wilcox (53) played 20 league games and scored 1 goal from 2004 to 2006. He won the PL with Blackburn in 1995, and has also played for Leeds and Blackpool.

He does have a past at Man City, being on their coaching staff for a number of years as well as being their Academy Director. Wilcox also holds the black belt in Judo.
