Fabrizio Romano issues Leicester City update on Armando Broja to land King Power Stadium

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano makes intervention to clarify Enzo Maresca stance on Chelsea transfer pursuit of Leicester City star Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall

Armando Broja isn’t a likely makeweight in Chelsea’s attempts to take Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall from Leicester City at the moment, as the clubs try to beat the PSR clock and come to an agreement.

Slough-born Albania striker Broja, aged 22, has been mooted as one of three potential Chelsea players being offered to Leicester in what would be billed as a separate deal to the one which would take Dewsbury-Hall to Stamford Bridge – and crucially clear any City concerns about a breach in Profit and Sustainability Rules by the end of football’s financial year.

But Broja is also being linked with Everton among others and might come with too high a price tag for the transfer to make sense from Leicester’s point of view.

There is still interest from Everton and also another club asks for information on Broja in the last 24 hours,” said transfer insider Fabrizio Romano in a Saturday afternoon update. “There is a lot of interest in Armando Broja. At the moment I am hearing there is not something concrete with Leicester City for Armando Broja.
