DONE DEAL: star midfielder set to Undergo Medicals & Sign Contract On Move From Inter Milan To Leicester City Today
Midfielder Stefano Sensi will undergo his medicals and sign his contract on a move from Inter Milan to Leicester City today.
This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, via FCInterNews.
This according to Italian news outlet FCInterNews. The outlet reports that the move will be an initial paid loan containing a conditional purchase obligation.
Inter and Leicester have been in negotiations regarding a transfer of Sensi for much of January.
But to date, the two clubs have yet to get the deal over the line.
Sensi has remained a Nerazzurri player, and has not yet travelled to England to complete a move.
Inter were in Saudi Arabia for the Supercoppa Italiana last week.
Meanwhile, with suspensions in midfield, the former Sassuolo midfielder was in the Nerazzurri’s squad against Fiorentina over the weekend.
Stefano Sensi Set For Leicester City Medicals Today
Inter and Leicester have reached a full agreement regarding Sensi’s transfer.
The total fee that the Nerazzurri receive for the 28-year-old will be in the region of €3 million.
And after chasing the Italian international for much of this month, Leicester will finally get the deal over the line today.
Tuttosport confirm that Sensi is flying to England today.
There, the ex-Sassuolo midfielder will undergo his medicals. Then, barring any complications relating to his lengthy injury history, Sensi will sign his contract as a Leicester player.
The Italian will join the Foxes on a two-and-a-half year deal until the end of June 2026.
Sensi is departing Inter after four and a half years at the club.
The 28-year-old joined from Sassuolo in the summer of 2019.;
Sensi has made a total of 56 appearances for the Nerazzurri. he has scored four goals in the process.
Meanwhile, Sensi has also gone out on loan to the likes of Sampdoria and Monza in recent seasons.
