Leicester City is planning a January move for Chelsea midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek.
Loftus-Cheek has spent most of his Chelsea career as a substitute rather than a starter. His versatility has made him a valuable option for Chelsea this season in a variety of positions, but when their roster is fully fit, it’s tough to see him playing regularly.
Chelsea is aiming to bring in another midfielder during the January transfer window, therefore a move away from the club could be on the cards.

Leicester City has battled this season, but they are starting to rediscover some form after a rough start. To strengthen their league position, they will need to bring in reinforcements in January, and a midfielder may be regarded as a priority due to some likely outgoings.
This summer will see a lot of interest in James Maddison, and with Youri Tielemans out of contract at the end of the season, Leicester will need to find a replacement during the next two transfer windows.
