There are fewer than two weeks left in the window for teams to build their roster for the rest of the season. With five players missing from previous matchday selections, City could see some departures before the deadline.

Iversen was one of those left out of the squad vs Cardiff, with Mads Hermansen recovering from injury to return to action. Jakub Stolarczyk was on the bench alongside Danny Ward.

Both Ward and Iversen could yet leave the club this summer with Stolarczyk establishing himself as second choice under Enzo Maresca. According to the Sun Crystal Palace have ‘asked’ City about Iversen.

The Dane was promoted to first choice at the end of last season, but despite some impressive saves, was unable to help City avoid relegation to the Championship.

The report adds that an ‘enquiry’ was also made over City striker Kelechi Iheanacho. The Nigerian has been a big part of Maresca’s teams so far this season, starting the last three games in all competitions under the Italian.

Iheanacho’s contract at the King Power Stadium expires in one year, but Maresca has hinted that talks on a new term could begin shortly.
