Galatasaray has ‘held talks with Leicester City about signing striker Patson Daka before the end of the transfer window in Turkey tomorrow.
According to Fotomaç, the Turkish club is interested in signing Dak after Haris Seferovic left the club.
As a result, they’ve been scouring the market for a replacement, and a surprise name’ has appeared on their radar: Leicester’s Patson Daka.
Galatasaray is ‘closely interested’ in the striker’s situation at the King Power Stadium and has already met with Leicester officials to discuss a possible transfer.
The Super Lig is expected to make an offer for Daka at some point, though it is unclear how much they will offer for a permanent transfer.
Leicester paid €30 million to sign Daka from Salzburg two seasons ago, and they would presumably want to recoup as much of that as possible in any deal.
Galatasaray is interested in a deal because they are currently top of the table and ‘want to maintain’ their ‘dominance’ until the end of the season.
They are being ‘careful’ in their transfer negotiations, and ‘contacts have begun’ to make a deal happen before the Turkish transfer window closes tomorrow.
