Leicester City finally explain Patson Daka absence as Harry Souttar move in January makes sense

The situation regarding Patson Daka is said to be a contract clause, giving his former club RB Salzburg a major amount when he is due to play his next game for Leicester.

Strange to see him named on the bench in a previous game, not really being a candidate to play if this is the matter. The fee in question is believed to be £5million, so a big ask from Enzo Mareska if he decides to give Daka minutes.

Patson Daka, for some reason, never managed to get out in the summer, surprisingly not been able to get his terms in balance, with AC Milan, Bournemouth and Everton being keen. The way back to a place in a Leicester line up looks far for the £20million valued forward

Harry Souttar also looks out of the picture and only massive injury problems could see him return to the squad. His future looks in the air as a move away in January will be of interest for club and player.

Rangers and Celtic were seen as possible destinations, but the Scottish born Australian international will probably consider any suitable move possible with his situation at present looking difficult.
